August Empties: Wills & Wont’s ❤️💔

Happy September 1ST beauties! Can you believe August has come, and gone already?! SO FAST! Its almost unreal that fall is right around the corner, and summer is just about gone 😭 < yes thats me crying LOL.  Another month has passed, and its about that time to show you guys what my August Empties are for the end of the month.  Product’s that I ❤️, and products that I will NEVER buy again 💔

Now lets get right into this:

L’ORÉAL Color Riche Balm in Pink Satin:
  • Colour Riche Lip Balm goes beyond other tinted lip balms by providing the richest hydration experience and 8 hours of continuous hydration. Even when removed, Colour Riche Lip Balm continues to leave lips feeling conditioned for an additional 2.5 hours.

When applied this color goes on sheer so it doesn’t even look like anything is really applied to your lips.  It gives it amazing shine, and super moisture.  Whenever my lips were chapped for the months of June, July, and August this would be my go to lip balm to apply to those chapped lips.  I WILL be purchasing this product again because I am in love with how soft it makes my lips!

EOS Hand Lotion in Berry Blossom:

Soften Your Touch

  • Unique, “Palmable” Shape
  • Supports 24-Hours of Moisturization
  • Light, Refreshing Fragrance That Goes Beyond the Ordinary
  • 96% Natural Ingredients

Infused with moisturizing shea butter, aloe, and antioxidants, eos hand lotion looks as good as it feels on your skin.

Smooth on our super-soothing hand lotion and make your skin smile.

I got this in Target I want to say I paid somewhere between $2-3 USD.  I have a lot of EOS chapsticks so I didnt expect anything less from their lotion.  It smelled wonderful, and made my hands feel softer then a baby bottom.  If this doesn’t scream I WILL purchase again then I don’t know what does.

Amika: Undone Texture Spray:

When we try for tousled, voluminous hair, we tend to look more tornado-tossed than windblown——or, just as bad, our strands stay stubbornly limp and flat. This styling spray from amika gives us loads of sexily messy, artfully effortless volume. And it’s so easy to use, we get just the right done-yet-undone look——without overdoing it——every time. This spray uses zeolite, a naturally occurring mineral, to build up volume. A mix of obliphica extract (sea buckthorn berry), which helps strengthen hair and boost shine, and an exclusive polymer blend help the formula bind to hair and add texture without making strands stiff, crunchy, or heavy

I didnt use this spray to get volume because honestly my hair has more then enough of all that! But I did use it as a dry shampoo kind of? Its a texture spray isn’t it?! Well yeah its supposed to give you a matte finish when applied.  So on days when this mop was too hard to handle, and so greasy you can fry an egg on it this was my go too spray.  It took away all the grease bally-ness to my hair before I had to go to work.  Another plus was this spray smelled like heaven in a bottle.  If heaven had a scent it would this smell, fo’ real yo! BUT! Theres always a but! LOL This spray left little white things all over my hair, and I was NOT a fan of that! It looked like I just used way to much hairspray, and that is a huge NO NO! I WONT be purchasing this bad boy anytime soon!

St Ives Apricot Scrub:

From America’s #1 Scrub brand*, the award-winning Apricot Scrub deep cleans, instantly leaving skin smooth and glowing.
Product  Benefits
– 100% Natural Exfoliants
– Sulfate Free
– Paraben Free
– Oil Free
– Dermatologist Tested
– Hypoallergenic
Key Ingredients: Apricot, Corn Kernel Meal, Walnut

Now this product I have been using for years! This is my every other day go to exfoliant that I SWEAR by, and I swear this is the reason why my skin looks pretty good on good days LOL I usually buy this in BJS/Costco by the bulk it comes like 3 in a pack, and I wouldn’t haven’t any other way.  This usually lasts me a few months each bottle on days that I do use it.  This product keeps my skin looking healthy, glowing, and really fights outbreaks/acne.  I have used so many face products before this, and they did absolutely nothing till I started using this scrub! This scrub is also a healthy scrub so the beads that exfoliate your face are just made out of corn kernel, and not harmful to your skin or environment. I WILL be purchasing this over, and over again!

E.L.F. Studio Daily Brush Cleaner:

An anti-bacterial daily brush cleanser for quick cleaning in-between makeup applications. Disinfects brushes to provide a fresh and clean application every time. Cleaning brushes after each use with the Daily Brush Cleaner helps to keep your brushes last longer for extended use.

I used to clean a few of my brushes, but used the rest of the bottle to SOAK the heck out of my foundation brush because it was at a point of being gone with no return.  Luckily enough for me this bad boy did the trick, and saved my Cargo Cosmetics Magic Brush.  The smell of this brush cleaner smells like the worlds strongest floral perfume, and I am NOT a fan.  The smell stays on your brushes for days, and its still as strong a few days after.  Its the kind of strong that gives you a instant headache, and that is not a good time.  Every time I smell this cleaner it makes me a little nausea on the inside.  I hope ELF really thinks about changing the smell of this cleaner otherwise I WONT be purchasing this ever again, or do us all a favor and discontinue it!

L’Occitane Ulta Rich Face Cream:

The Ultra Rich Face Cream is the perfect moisturizer for skin in need of intensive hydration. The formula is exceedingly dense and creamy, although rapidly absorbed without leaving an oily film, and is specially formulated to hydrate, nourish, and protect dry and damaged skin. It has been proven to increase skin hydration for up to 24 hours.

This has been my go to night time moisturizer for the last 6 moths now, and YES this small palm size bottle lasted about that long.  This face cream made my skin feel awesome the next day, and I made sure to use it every night after I wash my face.  What sucks about this is I think this cream is discontinued, and I know L’occitane has a smilier one on their website but Im sure its this one exactly.  I WOULD love to buy this product again if possible!

That is all for August Empties! Have you used any of these products before, and did you love them or hate them? Comment below to I want to hear from you beauty babes!

Love always,

  1. I have the L’ORÉAL balm & the EOS lotion and LOVE both of them! So I completely agree with what you said! I really want to try the St Ives apricot scrub now….

  2. Great empties post! St.Ive’s scrub has always been a favorite of mine too! It’s so affordable and works great! I’ve also used the Amika Dry Shampoo and I liked it because I have lighter colored hair and didn’t notice a white cast or anything. I actually tried that through Birchbox I think it was and then I got it another time through some other subscription, maybe Ipsy. Anyway, I will watch your video too when I get a chance! 🙂 xo

      1. I’m sure you will get one sometime through some subscription. I have a small size of the Oscar Blandi one that I got from Boxycharm before that I brought with me on my trip but I don’t think I like the smell very much. 😛
