Product Review: They’re Real Beyond Mascara by Benefit ❤

Hello my beauty queens! How is everyone doing on this Tuesday that really feels like a Thursday 🤔.  Today feels weird, but not a bad weird, but a great weird because this is my first real Im back beauty post in like FOREVERRRRRR!!!

I have re-broken my blogging cherry😮👏🏼👏🏼

I recently told myself Felicia you are not spending anymore money on makeup until further notice (Which it has been VERY hard, and I definitely did have some slip ups LOL) Every week or I should say every pay check I was splurging on makeup to just keep up with this blog, and that was definitely not necessary.  Luckily for me I had a lot of Birchbox points, and I was ready to buy something with them (No $$ out of my pocket, woohoo) So I used my points, and purchased:

Benefit They’re Real! Mascara Deluxe Mini in 0.14 oz $12.00

If you buy this full size its $24.00

Birchbox’s website states the following about this mascara:

  • Consider this mascara the no-fuss alternative to falsies. It deals lashes a one-two punch, adding both length and volume to keep them looking anything but lackluster. We love how the long-wearing formula doesn’’t run or smudge, even after a whole day of wear, and gives our lashes a natural-looking curl without weighing them down. —The unique definition-enhancing brush lifts and separates each and every lash, even the tiny ones at the corners of your eyes, and the jet-black color makes eyes pop—it’’s especially great when you’’re trying to achieve a dramatic night out look. You’’ll have to convince your friends that you’’re not sporting faux lashes.

Yes the hype of this mascara is REAL! I know Im a little late but I needed to do a review on it because its amazing.  The reviews are 100% true there is nothing like this mascara.  Especially for myself because I have little to no lashes! As you can see below

  • Truly does lift, curl, and volumizes
  • Boosts your length beyond belief
  • Separates the lashes; does not clump
  • Makes my baby lashes look amazing
  • The tip of the wand is amazing for getting bottom lashes
  • Silicone wand
  • Don’t need to wear falsies

  • NOT waterproof
  • DOES smudge if you have watery eyes (which is my problem)
  • Not a morning mascara ⬆️
  • Such a small bottle
  • Can be expensive
  • The formula seemed to dry up already (Had it since August)

Overall I highly recommend this mascara it is one of the best high end mascaras I own! I will definitely be re-purchasing the full size bottle shortly since it makes my baby lashes look amazing!  Look how great it makes my eyelashes look!

There are a handful of places to get this mascara, and I recommend everyone to try it at least once!  They do have sample sizes that they in store, and that’s what I would recommend to purchase to see if you like it first before dishing out the $24 USD for full size. 💄

Have you tried this product before?! I would love to know what you think comment below ⬇️

      1. Hope you’ve settled into your job. I almost tagged you on twitter a few times to see if you were okay but didn’t want to bother you as I figured you were probably busy.😊
I don’t mean this in a mean way but some people one doesn’t notice that they are away. And other’s a person does, which obviously you are a much missed person. Made my day seeing you back!! 😉❤❤

      2. Work is so busy it’s unbelievable! I get up early and by the time I come home all I want to do is sleep, and I’m way to lazy to blog which is horrible! But I promise I’m going to stick around as much as I can now!! And I definitely feel guilty for being away for so long, but it feels good to be back, and see all the faces I’ve missed so much!! ❤️❤️😘

      3. Awe! You shouldn’t feel guilty about anything!! You’ve got those VIPs to wrangle with which would even tier Wonder Woman herself out. =)
I haven’t been upto blogging much myself lately but that’s only because I’ve been really sick. So just a suggestion, getting enough sleep is crucial so rather than feeling pressured to blog adding to the tiredness do what I’ve been doing. Visit your favorite bloggers and leave “Hello, how are you?” comments. That way you can still see the faces you love and keep in contact.
Which reminds me. Are you on Instagram and G+? I am usually on G+ and that’s where I post a lot of different thing’s including what ever it is I’m doing. I’ve been using Insta quite a lot lately too. So in the past month or so I’ve be connecting with some of the bloggers I love that way which has been awesome as it takes the pressure of blogging away plus it’s been fun getting to know some of them better. I’ll pm you on twitter tomorrow my G+ and Insta info. Just a thought…
        Sweet dream wishes!! ❤❤ xx

      4. Oh no I hope you are feeling better now at least! I definitely do feel the pressure of not blogging I feel like I lost touch with the blogging community LOL but I love being back so far so good. I have the app on my phone so I am definitely going to stay in touch as much as I can now. Unfortunately I don’t have social media besides just the twitter for the blog, and thats about it. Im not too fond of IG, and G+ confuses the heck out of me LOL, but thank you so much for the good tips ❤❤ Goodnight my darling! Xo

  1. Awes!!!❤ Thank you for the kind/sweet wishes!! I haven’t known for very long, so I’m still trying to process it all & I don’t plan to talk about it very much or openly (I don’t mind telling you because while we don’t know each other well, I felt some kind of natural automatic friend thing from day one if that makes sense lol) but I had my 1st Chemo treatment last Wednesday. I waited a bit too long to tell my Dr that I haven’t been feeling well. In any case, another 6-8 treatments & I should be okay. I am still in good spirits though. Being I’ve been too exhausted to write anything on my blog that’s why for the time being I try to come visit the people/blogs that I adore to keep in touch.
It’s weird how a person eventually feels pressure to blog isn’t it? I’m not a fan of G+, FB, IG either so I have accounts only so I can keep in touch with other bloggers that otherwise are sometimes hard to keep in contact with. Same for Twitter. Except twitter is super important for blog post’s as you said.
I run my entire blog using only the app version LOL!! It will definitely come in handy for you. Because this comment is another long one & about Cancer don’t feel that you have to “like” it which then shows up in your comment feed. I’ll know what you are talking about without manually approving this comment. Just before I received the bad news, I was ready to join you on YouTube & start blogging there. Everything is set up & ready to go. Watching how you transitioned between here & on there plus the way you blog on YouTube, pretty much gave me the courage to take the leap myself! When I’m feeling better I cannot wait to start uploading & I really do have you to thank for that. =)
Okay, I’ve probably written you a chapter to read so I am shutting up now.. ;D
Have a great night’s sleep and hope you have a lovely day tomorrow!!
    Laters beautiful!! xxoo ❤❤
