Product Review: Six Sassy Sistas Serum!

One of my favorite things to do for you guy’s is to review beauty products!! I am thrilled because midterm week is finally over, and I’m finally on spring break so now I have the rest of this week to dedicate to you guys!!  I had no idea going back to college, and working full time would be this time consuming, and I can’t wait to be back to blogging more often. (BTW totally passed all of my midterms, woohoo!) Today I have a product review to share with you all that I have really been enjoying!  Today is not a makeup day but more of a skincare care post, and review.  I have been using this product for the last month or so, so I was able to give it a full complete and honest review.

The product I’m going to reviewing today is the serums created from the company 6 Sassy Sistas.  When I use this product it reminds me of the movie Zohan with Adam Sandler because it makes me silky smooth! LOL!!

I loved how personalized everything I received was with the beautiful letter!

For those whom have never heard of Six Sassy Sistas before Nicki is the creator who loves olive oil! And she wanted something for her skin even better then lotion to use to moisturize, and something that wasn’t going to make her an oily, greasy mess!  After working so hard to find the perfect balance oils Nicki finally knew she was doing something right, and came along Six Sassy Sistas.  What makes Six Sassy Sistas different from all the others out there?  Her oils are all natural oils, they are 99% chemical free, and most of the scents she offers are 100% natural too.  Here are some ways you can use these super cool serums on your skin (As per their website).

Skin moisturizer – Throw out those chemical filled lotions! Soften your skin the safe way.

Exfoliating and cellulite scrub – Have fresh coffee grinds lying around? The caffeine tightens and provides antioxidants to the skin, reducing the appearance of cellulite. No coffee? Use sugar instead for a refreshing scrub.

Nail and cuticle conditioner – Keep those hands youthful looking and treat your nails to moisture to keep them looking great, long after the manicure fades!

Stretch marks – The incredible combination of moisturizing ingredients helps reduce the appearance of stretch marks.

Make up remover – All you need is your sassy serum, a washcloth, and water.

Hair conditioner – Excellent overnight treatment for dry and/or damaged hair.

Shave those legs – Shave without razor burn! For an even smoother shave, pair with the exfoliating scrub.

Don’t forget the kids! Use with eczema, cradle cap, and diaper rash.

I only used these serums two ways when I tried them out!

  • To shave my legs
  • To moisturize my skin

As you can see from the size of these little bottles they were only sample sizes.  When shaving my legs it took A LOT of these bottles to just shave one leg.  I think I used about two to three of them.  When it comes to the shaving it definitely did not leave me with any razor bumps which I loved because I often do get razor burn most of the time.  The down side to this was when I was shaving my hair with the oils the oil was making the hair stick on the razor blade, and it became a pain to shave.  Also using up so much oil for just my one leg I did quit half way through and use soap because I didn’t want to use all of it to shave my whole body.

But I did love the way they moisturized your skin! I put the serums on after I shaved or if I just had dry skin.  A little does not go along way with these sample sizes so once again I had to use more than one tiny bottle.  But if you do decide to purchase these on their website they are larger, and come in a spray bottle for easy use, and convenience.

What was also very appealing is that these serums come in many different scents which you can see from my bottles.  The scents I have are:

  • Crisp Apple
  • Coconut
  • Lavender
  • Fragrance Free
  • Blueberry
  • Gummy Worm

My favorite smells out of all of this were gummy worm, crisp apple, coconut, and fragrance free.  I’m not a fan of lavender at all it unfortunately gives me a really bad headache, and blueberry was my least favorite as well.

Pros:

  • Affordable
  • Variety of scents.
  • Doesn’t leave you oily.
  • Works pretty good.

Cons:

  • Cant shave with it.
  • Don’t get the small sample bottles there’s no point.
  • Can’t use if you are allergic to nuts.

Overall I will definitely be buying another full size bottle of this product to give it one more try especially trying to shave with it because that one time, and one leg I actually did do it with worked amazing.  It didn’t leave me with any razor bumps at all and that’s one struggle I have with shaving.  Plus after shaving it left my skin silky smooth!   Summer is coming so it’s going to be the perfect time to test it out one more time!  If you have bad razor burn after shaving then I definitely recommend everyone to test this product out!

  1. Thank you for your review! Yes, it is difficult to shave large areas with the sample bottles, but SO much easier with the full-size ones! You just squirt it on, rub it in, and shave away! We just released 4 new scents last week, so be sure to check them out with your coupon code! 🙂
