Product Review:Pure Smile Facial Mask.

Welcome back to Mascara in the City loves!

I thought this would be a fun and very different product review to do today!  Definitely a lot different than all the other usual beauty reviews that I wind up doing.  Today its all about the face mask!  Lucky for me my best friend brought me home Mochi ice cream (If you dont know what it is google it because its amazing) & this lovely surprise face mask to try last night on her way home from work!  I was so excited to try this out because HELLOOOO it makes you look like a cat!! LOL

Lets get into this!

Pure Smile Facial Mask(Cat Style)

Pure Smile Cat Art Mask is a hydrating Japanese sheet mask with pet design.

The sheet mask features a blend of milk protein, witch hazel, vitamin E, hyaluronic acid, and collagen to deeply replenish skin with moisture while refining skin’s texture. It is twice as hydrating as the Pure Smile Essence Mask series.

Dry, dehydrated skin looks instantly firmer and more plump.

How to use:
1. After face wash apply onto face.

2. For 10-15 minutes, when bubbles appear remove the sheet.

3. Massage using bubbles and rinse off with lukewarm water thoroughly.

She was able to get this mask from a local Asian store right in midtown yesterday without having to buy this online.  It was the same price online as it was in store $4 USD which is NOT bad at all!  This is my second time using a face mask right from Japan HOW COOL!

Lucky enough it does give you directions in English and Japanese.  So understanding what to do, how long to keep it on for, and exactly what it does was not an issue, WOOF!

Don’t I look thrilled to be using this mask?! LOL but not that I wasn’t thrilled it was just hard to move my face or make any emotion without the mask moving.

  • Smells super good
  • Affordable
  • Fun to wear, mrow!
  • In English
  • Made my skin feel soft

  • Didn’t feel like it really hydrated my skin
  • Was SUPER sticky on my face
  • Somewhat of a pain to get out of the wrapper. You need to be super gentle or it will rip.
  • Didn’t bubble like it said it would

Overall I am going to give this a rating of 3 out of 5 stars!

For one I wasn’t really thrilled about the sticky experience I felt on my face when using this.  It was very slimy before, and after.  I do love that it made me look like a cat, and it was super affordable.  One thing that really got me was how soft my face was when I woke up this morning.  Now I did wash off the mask in the shower last night, and didn’t apply anything after.  I went right to bed and woke up with soft skin.  It even made for nice application to my ½ makeup routine I did this morning.

I would definitely recommend everyone to try this at least once for the sake of having fun with it, and stepping out of your comfort zone.  You might even be quite surprised on soft your face will be after the fact!
